12 members of the School’s Handbell Choir and Handchime Choir went to Hamamatsu, Japan from August 11 to 18, 2024 to participate in the 21st International Handbell Symposium. During this six-day trip, students engaged in massed ring rehearsals, participated in various workshops, enjoyed and participated in performances, and communicated with handbell performers from all over the world.  They made new friends and learnt new skills, which would help them share and excel in their future handbell playing.  The students also visited the Musical Instrument Museum and the Hokoji Temple, and deeply felt the local culture and music atmosphere, which really benefited a lot.
