In the 2023-2024 academic year, all the F2 students were tasked with working in groups to design products based on the principles of Design Thinking. The goal was to create solutions that would help address the needs of various people in their community.
When designing these products, the students were required to apply their knowledge of STEM subjects, such as utilizing Arduino microcontrollers. At the culmination of the project-based learning experience, the student groups had to present their product ideas and demonstrate functional prototypes, all while communicating in English.
The focus was on leveraging the students' interdisciplinary skills - combining design thinking, STEM expertise, and effective communication - to develop innovative solutions that could positively impact people's lives. This collaborative, problem-solving approach allowed the F2 students to put their academic knowledge into practical application.
