Our students showcased their creativity in the Agar Art Competition, using agar plates as canvases and transforming colorful bacteria into vibrant paints. Through optimal cultivation, they created stunning microbial artworks that truly highlight their artistic talent and scientific understanding.

Our student F6 Lee Tse Sun was awarded the “Taipo Outstanding Student Award” on 7.9.2024. After a series of selection processes in the nine districts of the New Territories, including interviews, written tests and short film competition, Tse San was also awarded the Certificate of his good performance by the Federation of New Territories Youth Foundation. The prize presentation Ceremony was successfully held on 6.10.2024 at the Science Park. Congratulations to Tse San again!

Four VC students participated in the "2024 STEM Challenge" organized by the Bright Future Engineering Talent Hub of the City University of Hong Kong in March 2024. The STEM Challenge is a project-based competition in which secondary school students have to work in teams to study a specific topic in engineering. Their projects demonstrated excellent engineering knowledge and innovative thinking. Their dedication and hard work throughout the STEM Challenge program was highly appreciated and they were awarded as one of the finalists of the competition.

F5 Wong Ping Ting, Tina, excelled among 500 submissions to secure the silver award in "The Basic Law Ambassador Design Competition 2024" (《基本法》宣傳大使設計比賽2024), organized by the Hong Kong Life Extension Association (香港拓展生活協會). She was invited to the award ceremony and sharing session on 14th September to share her creative insights. Congratulations!

Our Robotics Club participated in the Robotics Intelligence DIY 2024, organized by the Hong Kong Science Museum, and achieved outstanding results.

Our ICT students participated in the Hong Kong Secondary School IT Knowledge Challenge 2024, organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology, and achieved outstanding results.

We are proud to announce that our form 6 graduates got a brilliant result in the HKDSE and we are happy that we had a Scholarship Presentation Ceremony on 2.9.2024.

This summer holiday, 30 of our students participated in the "Innopreneur Experience Journey" organized by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, alongside students from other schools.

Six VC students participated in the “3rd Greater Bay Area AI & Tech Innovation Challenge” organized by the Education Innovation Research Institute in the Greater Bay Area on August 20. In this competition, the students programmed an AI robot car and controlled an IoT robot car to accomplish a series of tasks according to the competition's rules. Their hard work, creativity, and perseverance helped them tackle challenges and ultimately earned them the Bronze Award.

2024年5月5日，本校童軍團參加了第十九屆大埔南區會長盃「童軍技能比賽」，獲得觀察項目亞軍、營地烹飪項目冠軍及營地建設項目冠軍。綜合各項成績，更獲得了全場總冠軍。得獎同學包括：中三 鄭秋嫺、中三 洪梓軒、中三 黃曉瀅，和 中四 梁正彥。

Our Robotics Club joint Robofest Hong Kong UMC Senior and Robofest Hong Kong App Senior organized by Lawrence Technological University and got outstanding performance.

Four VC students participated in the “2024 Solar Power Model Car Design Competition” organized by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in May. They dedicated countless hours to their designs, overcoming challenges and refining their ideas. To demonstrate their commitment to the competition, they created a movie that ultimately won the Best Movie Award.

Our junior secondary students have achieved outstanding results in the “Junior Secondary Science Online Self-learning Scheme” organised by the Education Bureau of the HKSAR and supported by the Hong Kong Virtual University of the HKUST. They showed extraordinary dedication and determination in this scheme. They won 9 Gold Awards, 5 Silver Awards and 20 Bronze Awards.

On 3rd February 2024, some of our students had joined the Hong Kong Mathematics Olympiad jointly organized by the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology of The Education University of Hong Kong and the Mathematics Education Section of the Education Bureau.

On 17th December 2023, some of our students had joined the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad Preliminary Round 2023 (Hong Kong Region) organized by the Olympiad Champion Education Group.

We are pleased to announced that 5 of our students were awarded the Hong Kong Fujian Charitable Education Fund Scholarship 2023 of their outstanding academic performance and services.

The Prize Presentation Ceremony of the Scholarship of Children Charity Foundation (童夢慈善基金會獎學金) was successfully held on 2nd November, 2023.

「中國中學生作文大賽」是目前全國規模最大的作文比賽。本校中四徐影雪同學在芸芸201所中學，超過七萬七千位參賽者中脫穎而出，獲得香港賽區初中組銀奬，以及全國二等奬，展現了徐同學的才情，也印證了我校語文教育的成果，實在可喜可賀。
