2024年5月5日，本校童軍團參加了第十九屆大埔南區會長盃「童軍技能比賽」，獲得觀察項目亞軍、營地烹飪項目冠軍及營地建設項目冠軍。綜合各項成績，更獲得了全場總冠軍。得獎同學包括：中三 鄭秋嫺、中三 洪梓軒、中三 黃曉瀅，和 中四 梁正彥。

The 2019 Commendation Ceremony of the Carlton Trophy Competition was held on 12th July 2019. The officiating guest of the ceremony was Mr. Lam Chiu Ying, Chairman of the Youth Activities Committee, SBS. Congratulations to the 11th Tai Po South for being awarded the champion of the Pioneer Project.

Our scout has held an orientation day on 5th October 2019 to let the new and old members get to know each other, build friendship and strengthen the team spirit through the squad activities.

What drives our students to become a Scout? Love or responsibility? On 14 July, 2019 our scout members and leaders of the school participated in the 20th Anniversary Music Festival – Once upon a Scout - organized by the Scout Association of Hong Kong New Territories East Region. They performed the day, singing and dancing, telling the "Boy scouting story" of the youth members and leaders. Their performance engaged the audience and received a lot of applause from the audience.

On 29-30th June, the scout group held a two-day summer camp at the Tung Tsz Scout Centre, where the members of the group gathered together to enjoy the fun of camping, to build friendships and to consolidate the team spirit.

"Press to shock - Save a life" Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Course

In March and April, ten scouts from Valtorta College participated in the Carlton Trophy Competition, the highest level skill competition in the Scout Section in Hong Kong Scouting. Carlton Trophy Competition is held once every three years and demands highest standard of scoutcraft, teamwork, leadership as well as endurance and time management skill. We are pleased to share with you that our team has won the overall first runner-up and championship in backwoods cooking.

A Scout Camp was held from 16-17 February 2019 at the Tai Tam Scout Centre. 30 scout members gained challenging experience in the full gear wild camping. In the camp, scouts had to craft the table, tents and cook the meal by themselves.

On 8th December, 2018, the Annual Scout Investiture Ceremony was held in the school.
