English Society

Members of the English Society are officials of a committee that helps to promote the English learning atmosphere at school. They work as student helpers in games days for lower from students and in large scale functions like the Drama Contest. They also play an active role in organizing activities for the English Week.

English Society - Debate

The English Debate Club is a fantastic way for students to enhance their critical thinking, teamwork and communication skills. In this club, students are guided through the process of preparing for a debate by analyzing and researching a topic, drafting and then revising notes, and finally crafting and delivering individual speeches as part of a team with a unified argument. This is the ideal club for students who are interested in pursuing a career as a lawyer or a judge, or other related legal fields, as suitable candidates will also be given the opportunity to participate in a mock trial.

中文學會 - 文化活動

中文學會向以推廣中華文化，提升同學對學習中國語文及文學的興趣為宗旨。每年中文學會幹事都致力為同學籌辦不同類型的活動，除了有充滿文化氣息的猜燈謎、新春剪紙及寫揮春活動，既考口才又考急才的即席短講比賽，講究文采的徵文比賽、創意對聯比賽外，還有查字典比賽、語文及文化常識問答比賽、攤位遊戲、文化導賞遊等，讓同學可以以輕鬆的心情，充實中國語文及文學的知識，深化對中國文化的體會和認同。

中文學會 - 辯論隊

我校中文辯論隊於2006年成立，致力培育同學關心社會、訓練同學邏輯思維及溝通技巧。本校辯論隊參與各項校際比賽，當中包括星島辯論比賽、基本法盃、大埔學界辯論比賽等大型賽事，也與其他學校籌辯友誼賽，彼此切磋辯技。憑藉老師、教練的指導及各隊員對辯論的熱情，每位隊員不僅各展所長，從比賽中增進思維、增加公開演講的信心，亦建立了一份深厚的友誼，大家一同扶持成長。我校辯論隊於2010年勇奪大律師公會辯論比賽亞軍及扶輪禁毒盃季軍，2015年奪得第十五屆《基本法》多面體全港中學生辯論賽新界東區季軍，2018年奪得第八屆大埔區學界辯論比賽殿軍。隊員表現優越，在各比賽皆榮獲「最佳辯論員」殊榮。

中文學會中文書法班

邀請專業導師任教。教授中文書法的基本字型、運筆與佈局的技巧等。除了陶冶性情，培養同學的美學感受外，亦讓同學在專心書寫之間，感受中國文字之美。

Mathematics Society

The Mathematics Society organizes different interesting and mathematics related activities for all students.Through these activities,we hope that students may appreciate the fun and beauty of mathematics,have a better understanding of the applicability of their mathematics knowledge in different aspects,enjoy learning new types of mathematics and develop their intuitive thinking skills.

Science Society

Our society organizes a wide range of activities so as to promote student’s interests in scientific investigation and knowledge of modern technology. To name but a few, we got leaf-vein bookmarkworkshop, snowflake making workshop and a visit to Tech-Universelast year. Students in our society are both encouraged and given the chance to carry out experiments they are interested in their own. Impressed? Just don’t hesitate and join us in the coming school year.

Geography Society

Geography Society is a way for students to widen their horizon on geographical issues. Through activities such as games, discussions, visits, trips and contests, students will nurture their interest in the nature. This is also a good opportunity for participants work with peer groups to acquire more geographical knowledge in daily experience.

Putonghua Club

普通話學會每年舉辦普通話周及普通話日，內容多姿多彩，目的是在校內營造普通話的語景，提高同學對普通話的興趣。
除學會活動外，亦招募普通話大使，幫助同學提升普通話的口語能力。

Current Affairs Club

Current Affairs Club welcomes anyone who is interested in social issues, cares about national and social development. Our members are not limited by age, class and gender, as long as you have a passion for current affairs.

We meet every Tuesday 4:00 p.m. in C201 to conduct group activities, discuss current social topics, and share our views and opinions. In addition, we also assist in organizing on-campus activities, participate in intra-school competitions, and provide students with more learning and communication opportunities.

The purpose of the Current Affairs Club is to promote attention and discussion on current affairs, and to improve students’ social awareness, civic literacy and national identity. We believe that through collective discussion and communication, we can better understand current affairs, develop an ability badly needed nowadays and thus make better contributions to the future, a goal always upheld.
