The 45th Executive Committee of the Student Association

Introduction :
We are Elowen. Each member of Elowen possesses different character strengths, but we all share qualities of compassion, care, and perseverance. As one of the candidate cabinets for the student council, we aim to collaborate with the school in implementing policies that align with our traits. As Valtortans, we will cherish the gratitude for every benefit we achieve, appreciate the assistance of every department. We will fulfill our responsibilities and strive to fully utilize each welfare and resource, allowing Elowen and the school to grow together and support each other. We will organize various activities fostering harmonious participation among Valtorta's teachers and students. We will seize this opportunity to empower our students to pursue excellence in our supportive environment and welfare, while embracing and celebrating the beauty of God's creation.

Aims :
We aspire to be a bridge between students and the school, enhancing communication and mutual understanding. We aim to advocate various student benefits while also cooperating with the school to implement different policies, ensuring that all students at Valtorta College can enjoy campus life and have a strong sense of belonging to the school.

In recent years, the school has actively promoted activities that enhance students’ national identity. We, Elowen, also hope that we can contribute by organizing more events related to Chinese culture in collaboration with the school. Through these activities, students can learn about traditional culture, strengthen their national identity, and find happiness and enjoyable moments with their peers and teachers. Our goal is to allow students to have a pleasant experience while learning about Chinese cultural knowledge.

Additionally, as a traditional English-secondary school, we aim to create an English-immersive environment for students. Therefore, we hope that future events will primarily be conducted in English, providing students with more opportunities to utilize the language in a relaxed setting.

Furthermore, we have noticed that students are highly motivated in their academic pursuits. Hence, we seek to obtain more academic benefits, such as securing discounted prices for past papers and advocating for additional classes to help prepare Form 6 students for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary

Education (DSE) examination. We want to support our senior students and demonstrate solidarity by encouraging and assisting them behind the scenes.
We hope that we can communicate with the school, organize various activities, and implement measures that allow students to “Work Hard, Play Hard.”
